Partial Exclusions

On this one, when I shot “Subject #1”, it looked ok but I felt there was too much in the photo, again drawing the eye to a point I didn’t want. I don’t really understand all the dynamics in this one. I moved forward slightly and allowed some of the vertical vines closest to me fall out of the frame. I noticed a huge improvement in the desirability of the photo. Notice that, even though I removed a small portion of the vine at the closest point on the right, those vines reach from the bottom of the photo to the top thereby helping to frame the right hand portion of the photo.
